Tim, innanzitutto complimenti per la bella vittoria. Un commento su questa tripla doppia?
«La tripla doppia di ieri sera è qualcosa che è capitato senza volerlo. Stavo facendo la mia solita partita, quella di sempre, con la consapevolezza di dover aiutare la squadra a rimbalzo a causa dell’assenza di Marco (Maganza ndr.). Questo impegno è stato totale, da parte mia e di tutta la squadra: la tripla doppia ne è stata la conseguenza».
Qual è il segreto di questa Aurora?
«Non ci sono segreti nel basket. Questo gioco è così da sempre. Bisogna solo credere in se stessi e nella squadra. Abbiamo un team giovane, ma non usiamo mai l’età come una scusa. Al contrario, cerchiamo costantemente di migliorare per apprendere come vincere le partite».
Un pronostico sulla prossima partita contro la Fortitudo Bologna e sul resto della stagione?
«Bologna è una grande squadra con molta esperienza. Sarà una partita molto difficile da giocare, anche per l’atmosfera che ci troveremo di fronte. Prepareremo duramente il match durante questa settimana e a andremo alla ricerca del miglior risultato possibile. Per quanto riguarda il resto della stagione, dobbiamo solo continuare a lavorare giorno dopo giorno. Alla fine vedremo dove siamo arrivati».

Tim, first of all congratulations for the victory. Your comment about this triple-double?
«The triple double yesterday was something that kind of just happened. I was just playing my normal game, knowing I had to help the team with rebounds because of the absence of Marco. It was a total team effort and the triple double was only a result of that».
What is the secret of this Aurora Jesi?
«There aren’t many secrets to basketball. The game’s been around forever. Its all about believing in yourself and the team. We have a young team, yet we don’t use that as an excuse. We continue to try to get better and we learn ways to win games».
A forecast on Sunday’s match against Fortitudo Bologna and on the remaining part of the season?
«Bologna is a great team with much experience. It will be a very difficult place and atmosphere to play. We will prepare during this week and go I to the game looking for the best possible outcome. As for the remainder of the season, we’ll just continue to take it one day at a time and at season’s end see where we stand».
